I have had a successful private practice for the past 20 years working with people who feel overwhelmed or just plain "stuck" in their lives and need help making positive changes. Together we create a customized plan to get you back on track.
The therapeutic relationship I build with my clients focuses on helping them recognize and change problematic thinking and behavioral patterns in an empowering, warm and non-judgmental environment.
I received a Bachelor of Arts in both psychology and communications from the
University of Michigan
and a Master's Degree from Columbia University. I also have a postgraduate training certificate from the National Institute of Psychotherapies.
Prior to entering into full time private practice, I worked as a clinician in some of the country's best psychiatric settings, including New York -Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Hospital and the Mt. Sinai Adolescent Health Center. I began my private practice on NYC's Upper East Side in 1999.
I have been married for over 20 years, and have a teenage daughter and son.
